Oh dear, another band-related post. But hey, you have no idea how much we rock. Because I haven’t loosed any mp3s into the world. They do exist, and are on our wiki. For we are that rock and roll. Yesterday was a Belagoth down, due to him lying in some doped-up state in his pad, man. And it made a difference. (Not because he can play and I can’t, even though that is true.) It seems, rather impressively, that we have a sound, and it didn’t work without him. (Plus it didn’t help that when Cassandra heard our out-takes from yesterday she mused on my only knowing a few chords. Which I tutted at, as that session was done using different chords from the other recording I made last week.) Imagine that. We have a sound. Yeah, yeah, mp3s soon enough. I would rather it had a vocal track, though.
Cod tos tarts, as was mentioned. The change being three redheads and a blue/black.
I am resisting the obvious line of trading in for younger models, due to the fact that white could be cool. Let us stick with white for now, until we see the result of more, eh?
Played for the fool for far too long, getting what you don’t from any around
I have finished my latest rash of Modesty, and must get some more next week. I am not sure why I find them so, well, fantastic. They aren’t trashy thrillers, they just rock. I don’t know if you would like them (I don’t even know to whom I am speaking here, not that I care, as I never have, this is just for me) just I love them. You can get through them quickly, as his writing is light, but not empty. I wonder if I have any of the old comics stashed away somewhere. It wouldn’t suprise me. But it is what I need, I think. Another obsession to kick in to another, more sustained one. Yes, the band fills in some of that, but that is just total fun, and the route to superstardom and a bank balance that you don’t have to ask if you can spend a tenner on a novel or two.
As long as it doesn’t go all Procol Harum on us. Which leads to a story about us discussing the singer. Which might have lead to a story being recounted here, but won’t.
This is all beginning to sound rather Spinal Tap.
… talking of which, did you know that Harry Shearer (who played Derek Smalls) is the voice of Ned Flanders, amongst others?

I did know about Mr. Shearer, as it happens. My mind is a filing system for useless trivia.
As for all sounding Spinal Tap, didn’t you notice my pedal? It goes all the way up to eleven.
See, if you lived closer, you could teach me how to play the damned axe. That would rock. And save me posing in my bedroom like I was 14 and making noise. Great and groovy noise, though. And it might stop my fingers breaking when I attempt a C. I am just not wired up for that, it is, for me, actaully physically impossible. True fact, true believers! Excelsior!

there must be some sort of exercise you could do to increase the flexibilty in your fingers so that they don’t break.
