We have two birthdays two days apart. Alexander, my second boy, was born today, eleven years ago. He goes to Big School this year, taking him and his mathematical skills from primary level up to secondary.
A voracious reader, several years ahead in his maths/science, a very loving wee boy is my Alexander. Helpful, modest, with an infectious laugh. Soon to be having his own section of the garden, where he will grow herbs to help him in his culinary arts. Cursed with having hair that grows at the same odd angles as mine, although he keeps his short, whereas I don’t.
